Position Description:
Our client, a nationally respected Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a team-oriented Staff Attorney to join its Litigation group in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level litigation attorney who enjoys hands-on case work and collaboration within a high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and dispositive motions

• Support and help manage complex discovery in large-scale matters

• Prepare for and participate in depositions and court appearances

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy alongside litigation teams

Qualifications

• J.D. required with strong academic credentials

• 5–8 years of litigation experience (targeting class years 2017–2020)

• Experience in federal court strongly preferred

• Demonstrated strength in legal research, writing, and analysis

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $175,000 – $225,000
