Business Immigration Staff Attorney (2-5 years of experience)

Position Description:
Our client is seeking a Staff Attorney to support its U.S. business immigration practice in its Nashville office. This role will focus on preparing and filing a broad range of employment-based immigration matters for corporate clients across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions on behalf of corporate clients
- Manage a caseload that includes a wide range of employment-based immigration matters
- Draft petitions, support letters, and legal filings with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across a national practice
- Ensure compliance with applicable immigration laws, deadlines, and firm processes
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in employment-based immigration law
- Experience with H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, and E-3 visa petitions; dependent visa applications and J-1 waivers; PERM labor certifications; EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 immigrant petitions; Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications
- Strong legal writing and drafting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong academic background and immediately transferable legal skills
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Work Environment & Expectations
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in-office
- Candidates must reside in or relocate to the Nashville, Tennessee area by the time of hire
- Active license to practice law in Tennessee, or willingness to obtain licensure
Billable Requirement
- Annual billable hour requirement: 1,900 hours
