Position Description:
Associate – Aviation Litigation (3–5 Years)
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an Associate with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join its Aviation practice group in its San Francisco office.Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs
- Preparing correspondence with colleagues and clients
- Drafting opinion letters and status reports
- Conducting legal research using platforms such as Westlaw, Lexis, and Nexis
- Drafting interrogatories and document requests
- Reviewing and analyzing document productions in preparation for litigation
- Assisting with depositions, hearings, oral arguments, and mediations
- Filing documents with courts
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice in California
- Federal court admission preferred
- Prior litigation experience required
- Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Compensation
- Salary range: $160,000 – $200,000
- Compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skill set, and credentials
