Position Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join its team in a hybrid role based in their Schaumburg office. This position supports attorneys in advanced aspects of business immigration, including form preparation, document management, and client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of immigration legal forms, including nonimmigrant and immigrant applications and petitions, for attorney review in a high-volume practice
  • Assist in troubleshooting case-related issues identified by clients and attorneys
  • Prepare immigration forms using legal software and draft correspondence using Microsoft Word; distribute finalized materials to clients for signature and processing
  • Support attorneys in assessing eligibility for immigration benefits by reviewing questionnaires and supporting documentation
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate document management
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow within the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field or a Paralegal Certificate
  • 2–6 years of experience handling employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, PERM, and Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
Salary range: $57,000 – $71,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
