Position Description:

We are partnering with our client, a leading global law firm, to identify a mid-level Corporate Associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice in Chicago.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience advising clients on a broad range of M&A and private equity transactions. This includes representing financial sponsors and strategic buyers and sellers in complex deal structures across various industries.

Candidates should have experience handling all aspects of transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of acquisition and disposition agreements, as well as supporting related transactional matters.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of M&A and/or private equity transactional experience at a large law firm
• Experience representing sponsors and strategic parties in sophisticated transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Admission to the Illinois Bar required
