Cybersecurity & Privacy Associate (2+ yrs)
Permanent Placements is seeking an Associate attorney with 2+ years of privacy and cybersecurity experience to join it's AM top 50 client. Candidates should have Big Law experience advising on cybersecurity compliance, counseling, and incident response and familiarity with U.S. state, federal, and international privacy and regulatory compliance and counseling (such as CCPA, COPPA, GDPR, GLBA, COPPA, HIPAA, and TCPA). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong experience in several of the following areas: (1) data breach investigations and notifications, (2) privacy assessments, (3) data mapping and records of processing exercises, and (4) development of security and privacy policies and procedures. CIPP or other relevant industry certification are valued. The candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school with excellent academic credentials and must be in admitted to practice in CA, DC , FL, IL, MA, TX or WI.
