Permanent Placements is seeking an Associate to joins its Am Top 10 client's Employment, Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice group. Qualified candidates will have 3 – 6 years of substantial experience on employment law matters that arise in corporate transactions and will work on the employment aspects for all types of transactions involving private equity clients and strategic investors. You will be expected to draft and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, separation agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements and conduct associated legal research to ensure compliance with the applicable state laws. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal and client management skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment. Excellent academic credentials and admission to practice in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the state, is required.
