Labor & Employment Associate Attorney (4-7 yrs)
Permanent Placements is seeking a Labor & Employment attorney for its Am Top 200 client's San Antonio office. Qualified candidates will have 4-7 years of experience representing employers and management in a variety of employment matters including defending claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. Candidates should also have experience drafting employee manuals and developing written policies and procedures for employers. Therefore, strong research and writing skills, including memo writing and drafting of pleadings, is expected. Trial preparation and participation, including discovery, preparing for and taking depositions, hearings, client counseling, and representation before administrative agencies is required as is significant familiarity with Texas employment laws and admission to the Texas bar.
