More Biglaw Partners Are Itching To Leave Firms That Made Deals With Trump
In comments to the American Lawyer, an industry observer, speaking anonymously to protect professional relationships, discussed partners who are eager to leave Biglaw firms that gave in to Donald Trump but may be constrained by their notice periods, which can normally range from 30 to 60 days: “I have a high degree of confidence there will be other moves that are not yet public. That said, the notice period is probably only part of why details are not yet public … laterals and groups commonly shop themselves to multiple firms … it takes time to have those conversations.”
