Sullivan & Cromwell Brings On A&O Shearman’s Financial Institutions Co-Head

After making a high-profile recruitment in its financial services regulatory group this week, Sullivan & Cromwell has a short list of expansion goals in London. However, the head of the Wall Street firm’s UK office says the company is not in a rush to keep up with the city’s hiring boom.

Prior to joining S&C, Barney Reynolds was the global co-head of A&O Shearman’s financial services regulation practice. Since 2013, Reynolds is only the third lateral partner to join S&C’s London office, which has about 80 lawyers.
