The Denver office is a growing market for the firm and continues to expand its wage and hour litigation capabilities, supported by a strong national platform.

The Role

The firm’s rapidly growing Denver office seeks to hire an associate or of counsel to join its Wage & Hour Litigation team. This role is designed for an attorney with 4 or more years of experience and offers immediate involvement in substantive, client-facing litigation work.

The firm is willing to consider non-partner-track candidates for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Litigate wage and hour class and collective actions under the Colorado Wage Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act

  • Interpret and apply regulations, rules, and guidance from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division

  • Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery

  • Draft and argue motions, including motions related to conditional certification and decertification

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced litigation environment

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of wage and hour litigation experience

  • Substantial experience handling class and/or collective action claims

  • Demonstrated proficiency with pleadings, discovery, and motion practice

  • Experience taking and defending depositions

  • Strong academic credentials

  • Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Admission to the Colorado Bar is required

  • Writing sample required (maximum 10 pages, not heavily edited)

Compensation

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is:

$195,000–$230,000 base salary

Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Additional Notes:
Hybrid schedule with three days in office and two days remote
