Trump Admin Casts Uncertainty on White Collar Defense Practices in Big Law

Due to a decline in white-collar defense work under the Trump administration, law firms are shifting their attorneys to areas with growing demand, such as compliance counseling and civil litigation. This slowdown is partly attributed to a temporary pause in Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement and reduced cryptocurrency enforcement. In response, firms are strategically realigning their practices to focus on sectors where client demand remains strong.
