Law Firms, Clients Struggle to See Eye To Eye on Alternative Fees

Clients are increasingly interested in alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), but many law firms are not meeting this demand, according to a recent legal industry report from BigHand, which surveyed around 800 lawyers worldwide. A law firm leader noted that differing objectives between clients and firms may contribute to this disconnect. Despite client interest, law firms have not effectively addressed their needs, and some experts believe the statistics fail to capture the full situation.
