Real Estate Associate (2+ years)

Position Description:
Our client is seeking a transactional real estate associate attorney to join its Real Property Practice Group, with a focus on affordable housing projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling commercial real estate matters and a strong interest in lender-side financing.
Responsibilities
- Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, joint ventures, and land development projects
- Conduct title, survey, and related real estate due diligence
- Manage closings and coordinate with paralegals and team members across multiple offices
- Support client teams on affordable housing transactions and related projects
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with supervising attorneys and team members
Required Qualifications
- Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
- Strong title and survey review skills and experience with closing processes
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in lender-side real estate financing
- Familiarity with affordable housing transactions and related regulatory considerations
