Our client is seeking a Senior-Level Associate to join its Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice in Denver. This role involves working on large, complex transactions and offers the opportunity to engage directly with clients early and often. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume M&A work, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, and will be comfortable supervising associates and collaborating with subject matter specialists.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide range of M&A transactions, including strategic and financial sponsor deals
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents with precision and efficiency
- Manage and supervise junior associates and coordinate with specialists across practice areas
- Support clients through all stages of complex transactions, including joint ventures and minority investments
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service
Required Qualifications
- Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
- 4–8 years of experience in a high-volume M&A practice
- Strong academic credentials (GPA 3.5 or above)
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Ability to work on large, complex deals and interact directly with clients
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor junior attorneys
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with joint ventures, venture capital financings, and minority investment transactions
- Background in handling transactions valued in the billions or tens of billions
- Good tenure and stability in prior roles
