Position Description:
Our client, a large national law firm with a broad U.S. presence, is seeking an Associate with 2–5 years of legal experience to join its Housing & Real Estate Finance Group to work in either their Baltimore, Minneapolis, or Washington, D.C. office. This role requires prior experience in commercial real estate finance along with strong academic credentials.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Working with multifamily lenders
  • Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and/or FHA multifamily programs
  • Strong title insurance and survey review skills

This position offers the opportunity to join a long‑standing national finance practice that handles transactions across all 50 states and provides exposure to both loan origination and servicing. Associates in this group can expect significant responsibility, substantial client interaction, and a team‑oriented environment. The firm also encourages Associates to participate in marketing and business development, including conferences and industry events.

Requirements:

  • Active bar license in Maryland, Minnesota, or Washington, D.C.

The expected salary range for this position is $205,000–$275,000, depending on location and experience.
