Position Description:
A nationally recognized labor and employment law firm with a deep and well-established labor relations practice is seeking a Senior Traditional Labor Associate to join its Denver office. This firm is widely regarded as a market leader in traditional labor law and is consistently trusted by employers to handle some of the most complex and high stakes labor matters nationwide.

The firm has built its reputation over decades by focusing exclusively on workplace law, allowing attorneys to develop unmatched depth in labor relations, collective bargaining strategy, and NLRB advocacy. Role overview
This position is designed for an experienced labor attorney who wants substantive, hands on involvement in traditional labor matters and the opportunity to work alongside seasoned practitioners in a strong Denver based labor group with national reach.

Practice focus and responsibilities
The role centers on traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining and contract administration across unionized environments. The associate will handle grievance arbitration matters and is expected to be comfortable managing arbitrations from preparation through hearing. Prior experience defending or prosecuting unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board is strongly preferred. Candidates with employment litigation experience combined with meaningful traditional labor exposure will also be considered. The role requires strong independent judgment, with the ability to collaborate on complex labor strategy and client counseling.

Ideal candidate profile
Seven or more years of traditional labor experience
Substantial collective bargaining and contract administration background
Grievance arbitration experience required
Prior NLRB experience strongly preferred
Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
JD from an ABA accredited law school
Active admission to the Colorado Bar required

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $210,000 to $230,000, in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
