Colin Huntley, a prominent False Claims Act (FCA) enforcement leader and former Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Civil Fraud Section, joined Akin today as a partner in Washington, D.C. Colin’s arrival coincides with a surge in qui tam filings, an increase in the use of data analytics by the government and qui tam relators, and a rapid expansion of federal enforcement priorities.
