Position Description:

Employment Litigation Associate (4–6 Years) – SF Bay Area

Our client, a nationally respected labor and employment law firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join its sophisticated and high‑performing practice in the SF Bay Area.

This position offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution while working on complex matters, including wage and hour disputes, employment discrimination and harassment claims, California wage‑hour class actions, and PAGA representative actions. The role provides exposure to cutting‑edge legal issues and the chance to work with a diverse client base in a fast‑paced, intellectually engaging environment.

What You’ll Do

Qualified candidates should be comfortable handling all major phases of litigation, including:

  • Drafting and responding to discovery
  • Preparing initial pleadings
  • Drafting, preparing, and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions

Our client is looking for attorneys with excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines. Ideal candidates are motivated self‑starters who succeed both independently and within a collaborative, team‑focused culture.

Requirements

  • Admission to practice in California
  • J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
  • 4–6 years of employment litigation experience

Compensation & Benefits

Our client offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $230,000 to $260,000, with actual compensation dependent on relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and other job‑related factors.
