Wilson Sonsini Offers Nearly $1M in Stipends to Summer Associates, Nonprofits to Encourage Pro Bono Partnerships

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has introduced a new public service initiative aimed at encouraging its incoming 2027 summer associates to engage in public interest work. The firm is committing approximately $900,000 to support both the students and the nonprofit organizations they will work with. Under this program, ten summer associates will collaborate with eight different nonprofits across the country, provided they commit to their first two summers at Wilson Sonsini. This initiative not only offers financial incentives to the associates but also compensates the nonprofits and government agencies for hosting these students, reflecting a growing trend in the legal industry to promote pro bono work among law students.
