Position Description:
Our client, a market-leading law firm, is seeking attorneys with outstanding credentials to join its Technology & IP Transactions group in Chicago. The firm is particularly interested in associates with three to six years of experience handling technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience.

Attorneys in this group have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated matters, including both domestic and international transactions for public and private companies across a variety of industries. These industries include software and AI, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, energy and infrastructure, chemicals and industrials, consumer products, and media and entertainment.

Representative matters include mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, software and systems agreements, outsourcing arrangements, R&D and collaboration agreements, and a wide range of licensing and commercial agreements (including patent, trademark, copyright, and data-related licenses).

A technical degree is not required for this position.

Our client offers a highly competitive compensation structure and comprehensive benefits package. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $260,000 and $390,000, depending on experience and qualifications, and is aligned with internal equity considerations. Please note that this range does not necessarily reflect the full compensation potential for the position.
