Position Description:
Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a talented attorney to join its Real Estate Finance group in Chicago.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in sophisticated commercial real estate debt financing transactions and a background working at a top-tier law firm.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of experience handling complex commercial real estate finance transactions.
- Experience with mortgage and mezzanine financings, preferred equity investments, and permanent and bridge loan originations.
- Familiarity with construction loans, loan participations, syndications (including loan sales), and co-lender/intercreditor arrangements.
- Experience with workouts and restructurings is strongly preferred.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Our client offers a highly competitive compensation structure along with a comprehensive benefits package. The expected salary range for this position is $260,000 to $420,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
