Position Description:
Our client, a respected national law firm, is seeking a Staff Attorney (2-4 years of experience) to join its growing Tort, Insurance & Environmental Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with product liability defense experience who is looking to join a collaborative team handling sophisticated litigation matters.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys on product liability and other complex defense matters while gaining valuable exposure to litigation strategy, client service, and case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the defense of product liability and related litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
- Support case strategy development and litigation management.
- Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams.
- Participate in discovery, case preparation, and other phases of litigation.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of product liability defense or related litigation experience.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar license and good standing in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to exceptional client service.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Deposition and court appearance experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 annually
- Target billable requirement of 1,600 hours
