Position Description:
Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking an Employment Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join its San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated employment counseling and litigation matters as part of a collaborative and growing practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise employers on a broad range of employment law matters.
- Handle employment-related litigation from inception through resolution.
- Provide counseling on workplace issues, compliance matters, and risk management strategies.
- Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategic approaches to employment disputes and preventative counseling matters.
Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of employment law experience, including counseling and/or litigation.
- Experience with restrictive covenant and trade secret matters is preferred.
- Wage and hour litigation and/or class action experience is a plus.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Active admission to practice law in California is required.
Compensation
The anticipated compensation range for this position is approximately $320,000 to $455,000+, depending on experience, class year, and qualifications.
