Position Description:
Litigation Associate
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of complex litigation experience to join its Seattle office.This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney looking to develop a sophisticated practice within a highly regarded litigation group. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial and business disputes while gaining meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and strong mentorship from experienced litigators.
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of complex litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and draft:
- Motions
- Briefs
- Pleadings
- Memoranda
- Discovery-related documents
- Assist with case strategy and litigation planning
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Manage discovery and case development efforts
- Work closely with partners, clients, experts, and other team members on sophisticated disputes
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and practical legal counsel
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 2-4 years of litigation experience
- Experience handling complex litigation matters
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Active membership in the Washington Bar, or willingness to obtain admission
Preferred Qualifications
- Judicial clerkship experience
- Experience with sophisticated commercial, business, or complex civil litigation matters
- Strong brief writing and motion practice experience

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $235,000 – $310,000 annually
- Compensation based on experience, qualifications, and market factors
