Position Description:
Our client is actively seeking multiple Asset Securitization Associates (2-6 years of experience) to join its nationally recognized Structured Finance practice. The team is open to candidates with direct securitization experience as well as associates from broader finance, lending, corporate, or securities practices who are interested in developing a specialized asset finance practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team that advises financial institutions, investors, and corporate clients on complex structured finance and securitization transactions. Notably, several leaders within the practice began their careers in other finance disciplines, making this an attractive transition opportunity for candidates with a strong finance foundation.
Responsibilities
- Represent financial institutions, issuers, investors, and corporate clients in asset securitization and structured finance transactions.
- Advise clients on a variety of financing structures, including asset-backed and securitization transactions.
- Assist with acquisitions and sales of portfolios of financial assets.
- Represent lenders, borrowers, and other transaction parties in secured and unsecured credit facilities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, offering materials, financing statements, and related agreements.
- Analyze commercial, securities, and bankruptcy law issues arising in structured finance transactions.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues across finance, capital markets, and corporate practices on sophisticated financing matters.
Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, banking and finance, corporate finance, capital markets, securities, lending, or a related transactional practice.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex transactional documents.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Interest in developing a practice focused on asset securitization and structured finance.
- Large law firm experience preferred.
