Position Description:
Business Litigation Associate
- Handle all phases of complex business and financial services litigation matters
- Draft and argue substantive motions
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials
- Develop and implement litigation and case-management strategies
- Manage discovery and document review processes
- Participate in court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Collaborate with clients and litigation teams to achieve favorable outcomes
- Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver high-quality legal work under demanding timelines
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
- 4-8 years of business litigation and/or financial services litigation experience
- Strong experience with:
- Motion practice
- Depositions
- Discovery
- Case strategy development
- Court appearances

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
