Position Description:
Our client, a highly respected and innovative law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its growing Atlanta office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of defense-side litigation experience who is looking for a partner-track role with strong mentorship, career development, and business growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling sophisticated litigation matters and managing cases through all phases of the litigation process. While prior employment law experience is preferred, our client is also interested in attorneys from other defense-side litigation practices who are interested in developing an employment litigation practice.
      

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and other court filings

• Handle written discovery and develop e-discovery strategies

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions

• Prepare witnesses and exhibits for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial

• Lead or significantly participate in mediations and trials

• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on case strategy

• Mentor and support junior attorneys

• Contribute to client development and long-term practice growth

              
Qualifications

• 3-5 years of litigation experience at a law firm

• Experience with complex commercial litigation, employment litigation, or other sophisticated defense-side litigation matters

• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills

• Experience managing multiple matters simultaneously

• Excellent organizational and case management abilities

• Demonstrated commitment to client service and teamwork

• Interest in business development and building a long-term practice

• Georgia Bar admission required
