Akin provided advice to Cando Rail & Terminals (Cando), one of the biggest owners and operators of first and last mile rail infrastructure in North America, as it executed a final agreement to purchase Savage Enterprises LLC’s rail operations. Savage Enterprises LLC is a major U.S. rail provider with operations throughout the country, including a platform of rail assets in important markets, such as along the Midwest, Gulf Coast, and Southeast corridors.
