Akin provided advice to Helios Investment Partners (“Helios”), a prominent London-based private equity firm with a focus on Africa, and Helios Fairfax Partners Corporation (“HFP”), an investment holding company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, regarding their $297 million offer to purchase CAB Payments Holdings PLC (CAB Payments), the holding company for Crown Agents Bank, a foreign exchange and cross-border payments company listed in the United Kingdom.
