(NASDAQ: MMSI), a multinational healthcare technology corporation, acquired View Point Medical, Inc., a privately held medical device firm with headquarters in Carlsbad, California, Baker McKenzie represented the company. USD 90 million in cash at closure and two deferred payments of USD 25 million each due on the first and second anniversaries of completion made up the total consideration, which was roughly USD 140 million.
