Position Description:
Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes in both Illinois state and federal courts.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, conducting legal research, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and supporting trial preparation. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred but not required.

Successful candidates will possess strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills, along with outstanding academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative litigation team. The firm is seeking attorneys who are self-motivated, client-focused, and capable of managing significant responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience litigating matters in Illinois state and federal courts
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent academic and professional credentials
• Active Illinois bar admission
