Position Description:
Paralegal
Our client, a respected and established law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join its Real Estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who enjoys working directly with attorneys and clients on estate planning, trust administration, probate, and related business matters.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client matters, maintaining case organization, drafting legal documents, and ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Document Drafting & Preparation
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Prepare:
- Business-related filings
- Client communications
- Memoranda and legal correspondence
- Ensure all necessary supporting documentation is included with filings and correspondence
Case & Matter Management
- Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical client files
- Monitor deadlines, court dates, and matter milestones
- Maintain attorney calendars and scheduling requirements
- Track outstanding items and proactively follow up to keep matters progressing efficiently
Research & Filing
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Compile and summarize information for attorneys
- File documents with courts and governmental agencies
- Assist with business entity filings and related compliance matters
Client & Attorney Support
- Communicate directly with clients regarding document collection and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings and appointments
- Assist attorneys with obtaining records, supporting documents, and information needed for client matters
- Manage communications and correspondence with professionalism and responsiveness
Qualifications
- Strong legal drafting and proofreading skills
- Excellent research and writing abilities
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
- Strong ability to proactively manage attorney workflow and case progression
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic filing systems and court filing procedures
- Familiarity with business entity filings and maintenance
- Experience with trial or litigation-support technology platforms
- Prior law firm experience managing sophisticated legal matters

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
- Compensation based on experience, qualifications, and skill level
