Position Description:
Case Clerk
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Case Clerk to support its San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in gaining hands-on experience in a law firm environment while supporting sophisticated litigation matters.The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. Prior administrative or litigation experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document review and organization using e-discovery platforms
- Support litigation teams with document management and case-related administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, including:
- Correspondence
- Pleadings
- Discovery materials
- Closed and archived matters
- Retrieve and monitor court dockets through:
- PACER
- Westlaw
- State court systems
- Assist with case tracking and litigation support projects
- Support attorneys and legal staff with administrative and special projects as needed
- Ensure accuracy and organization of case materials and records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Previous administrative, legal, or litigation support experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and software platforms
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with document management systems, such as iManage
- Exposure to litigation support tools and e-discovery platforms, including:
- Relativity
- Nextpoint
- General understanding of court filing and docketing systems

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $48,500 – $55,000 annually
