Position Description:
Our client, a globally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking highly qualified associates to join its Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity group. This role is open to candidates based in Chicago, Dallas, or New York.
Position Overview
Our client is looking to add junior, mid‑level, and senior associates with at least two years of experience in corporate transactional work, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions within a collaborative, high‑performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents
- Support all stages of deal execution, from structuring through closing
- Conduct due diligence and assist in managing transaction processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver strategic, business‑focused legal advice
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate transactional work at a nationally recognized law firm
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity transactions is strongly preferred
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and writing skills
- Team‑oriented mindset with a client‑focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation
- Estimated base salary range: $225,000 – $420,000
- Final compensation will be determined based on experience, seniority, class year, and other relevant factors
