Position Description:
Permanent Placements is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate to join its highly regarded, global corporate practice focused on working with public and private companies in their San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have four to seven years advising private and/or public companies on corporate matters (must be open to working with both, preferences is to have private company experience).
Qualified associates will bring hands-on experience representing high-growth businesses (VC backed is a plus) across a range of matters, including venture & growth financings, mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate governance. Candidates that have experience with SEC '34 Act are highly desired (big plus). Candidates should have prior experience practicing in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, have demonstrated a strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school, ideally graduated between 2018 – 2021, and have experience in Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Governance, and/or Public Reporting. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California and live within the commutable area to the San Diego office.
Compensation
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $310,000–$390,000, with final offers determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
