Position Description:
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a Corporate Transactions Senior Associate to join its team in either Atlanta or Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional matters within a well‑established and growing corporate practice.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience handling a range of corporate transactions, with a strong emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. This role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on complex, high‑profile deals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Support deal execution from initial structuring through closing
  • Conduct due diligence and draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on transaction strategy and execution
  • Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of relevant corporate transactions experience
  • Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions is required
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
