Employment Litigation Associate (6+ years)

Position Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Associate to join its California employment law practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in employment litigation and a strong understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters, including class actions and PAGA cases, and to build a deep, strategic practice in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle employment litigation matters, including class actions, PAGA cases, and single-plaintiff disputes
- Develop litigation strategies and manage cases from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on employment law issues
- Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver exceptional service and results
Required Qualifications
- Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of employment litigation experience
- Strong writing skills; ability to produce high-quality work under deadlines
- Member of the California State Bar (or pending admission)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Class action and PAGA experience
- Located in Los Angeles (preferred) or San Francisco
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships and avoid frequent lateral moves
