Position Description:
Our client, a leading global energy and infrastructure practice, is seeking an associate with 2–7+ years of experience in energy and construction transactions to join its growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects, advising developers, sponsors, utilities, and other industry participants across a broad range of project development and construction matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) agreements
- Advise on O&M (Operations & Maintenance), procurement, supply, and other construction-related contracts
- Support large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, and other project development initiatives
- Work closely with a highly regarded team on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions
Qualifications
- 2–7+ years of construction and infrastructure transactional experience
- Experience with energy projects, including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, or related infrastructure sectors
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent academic credentials and communication abilities
- Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction
