Position Description:
Our client is seeking talented Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Key responsibilities include counseling clients on executive compensation plans and incentive programs, negotiating and drafting employment and severance agreements, addressing labor and employment issues arising in transactions, and supporting the executive compensation and benefits aspects of M&A deals.
Candidates with prior experience at a large law firm are preferred, though exceptional candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered. Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
