Position Description:
A leading law firm is seeking an associate with at least 3 years of experience to join its Fund Finance & Structured Finance practice (12 people in the group) in either their Chicago, New York, or Charlotte office.

The ideal candidate will have substantive experience representing banks, private funds, and asset managers in a broad range of fund finance and structured finance transactions, with the ability to take a lead role on key aspects of deals.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Advise clients on a variety of fund finance and structured finance transactions
• Work closely with financial institutions, sponsors, and asset managers
• Lead significant portions of deal execution, including drafting and negotiation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with subscription credit facilities, NAV facilities, leverage facilities, and CLOs
• Background at a large law firm or similarly sophisticated practice
• Strong drafting, analytical, and client management skills

Candidates must be admitted to the bar in their preferred office location.
