Labor & Employment Associate (4-5 years)

Position Description:
Our client is seeking an associate with 4–5 years of employment litigation experience to join their Labor & Employment practice group. Traditional labor law and advice and counsel experience is a plus. This is a hybrid position based out of one of the client’s Bay Area offices (San Francisco, San Rafael, Walnut Creek, or Sacramento), and the firm is open to candidates who need to work remotely as needed.
Responsibilities
- Handle employment litigation matters, including trials and depositions
- Provide advice and counsel on labor and employment issues
- Collaborate with partners and peers on complex cases
- Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality legal services
Required Qualifications
- Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
- Admitted to practice law in California
- 4–5 years of employment litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with traditional labor law
- Background in advice and counsel for employment matters
