Position Description:
2nd or 3rd Year Litigation Associate
Our client, an elite international law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join its Litigation Department.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior litigation attorney seeking exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes disputes while working alongside nationally recognized litigators. The ideal candidate will have a broad litigation background, exceptional academic credentials, and experience managing a variety of litigation responsibilities within a fast-paced law firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all phases of complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft:
- Motions
- Briefs
- Pleadings
- Discovery requests and responses
- Legal memoranda

- Support deposition preparation and witness development
- Participate in case strategy development and litigation planning
- Assist with document review, discovery management, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and clients on sophisticated litigation matters
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a high-performance environment
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 2-3 years of litigation experience
- Strong experience handling a broad range of litigation matters
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent organizational and project-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Large law firm (“Big Law”) litigation experience
- Experience working on complex commercial, regulatory, or other sophisticated litigation matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage significant responsibility in a fast-paced practice

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $225,000 – $235,000 annually
