Position Description:
Remote CA Trial Attorney – Warranty Litigation – (5+ yrs)
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Trial Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join its Southern California litigation team. This attorney will focus on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation matters.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator seeking substantial trial responsibility within a collaborative and sophisticated practice. Prior warranty litigation experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Defend automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealerships in warranty and related consumer litigation matters
- Manage matters through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal as necessary
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft, argue, and respond to substantive motions
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Prepare and examine witnesses at trial and arbitration
- Deliver opening statements and closing arguments
- Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with clients and legal teams
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular case updates
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
- Significant trial and/or arbitration experience, including:
- Opening statements
- Closing arguments
- Witness examinations
- Motion practice
- Depositions
- Mediation
- Exceptional legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and case management abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage a busy caseload
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling complex commercial, consumer, product liability, or automotive litigation
- Warranty litigation experience is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $170,000 – $200,000 annually
- Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus
