The Chicago office is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its highly regarded Aviation & Aerospace Litigation practice. What You'll Do

As a Litigation Paralegal, you'll play an integral role throughout the litigation lifecycle while partnering closely with attorneys on complex, high-exposure matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage litigation files from case inception through settlement, mediation, arbitration, and trial

• Prepare subpoenas, interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and other discovery documents

• Draft discovery responses, coordinate document productions, and prepare privilege logs

• Organize and maintain pleadings, exhibits, correspondence, medical records, and case files

• Conduct factual investigations and legal research

• Prepare chronologies, pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other litigation documents

• Coordinate expert witnesses, consultants, and deposition logistics

• Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial

• Monitor litigation deadlines and maintain case calendars

• File pleadings electronically in both Illinois State and Federal Courts

• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness files, demonstrative evidence, and courtroom presentations

• Provide trial support, including exhibit management, witness coordination, and courtroom assistance

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience

• Strong experience supporting complex civil litigation matters

• Trial preparation and courtroom support experience

• Experience managing discovery, document productions, and electronic court filings

• Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Aviation or aerospace litigation experience is a plus, but not required
