Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a talented Missouri licensed attorney to join its nationally recognized Mass Torts Practice Group as Counsel.

What You'll Do

You will independently manage complex litigation matters while collaborating with experienced attorneys on overall case strategy and client objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing asbestos, talc, and product liability matters through all phases of litigation

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings

• Conducting and defending depositions

• Managing written discovery and discovery strategy

• Performing legal research and developing persuasive legal arguments

• Preparing for hearings, court appearances, mediations, and trial

• Working directly with clients, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and litigation support teams

• Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to develop strategic approaches for each matter

• Traveling periodically for depositions, hearings, court appearances, and other litigation proceedings

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

• Active Missouri Bar license in good standing

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience handling toxic tort, asbestos, talc, product liability, or other complex civil litigation matters

• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple active matters

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative litigation team while exercising sound independent judgment

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $150,000 to $215,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

Location
