Projects & Infrastructure Attorney (3–6 Years) – Energy & Power

Position Description:
Our client is seeking mid-level to senior associates (3–6 years of experience) to join its highly regarded Projects & Infrastructure practice, with a primary focus on power and renewable energy matters.
This team advises on some of the most sophisticated and high-profile projects in the market, spanning both renewable and conventional power generation. The practice is particularly active in energy transition and sustainable infrastructure, offering exposure to innovative and complex deal structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on project development, financing, and M&A transactions in the power sector
- Structure and negotiate tax equity financings (priority focus), project finance deals, and related agreements
- Draft and negotiate key project documents, including:
- EPC and construction agreements
- Offtake agreements (PPAs)
- Financing and investment documents
- Work on transactions involving solar, wind, battery storage, and other generation assets, as well as conventional power projects
- Collaborate across offices and practice groups on cross-border and multidisciplinary matters
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years of experience at a top law firm
- Strong background in project finance, project development, and/or tax equity transactions
- Experience working on energy or infrastructure deals (power sector preferred)
- Exposure to tax equity structures is highly preferred and a top hiring priority
- Candidates with strong project finance experience but limited tax equity exposure will still be considered
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting/negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deal-driven environment
