Position Description:

Real Estate Associate

Our client, an elite international law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3-8 years of experience to join its Los Angeles office.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney seeking to work on sophisticated, high-value commercial real estate transactions across a broad range of asset classes and investment structures. The successful candidate will gain exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, fund formation, and leasing matters while working alongside highly regarded real estate practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions

• Draft, review, and negotiate documents involving:

  • Acquisitions and dispositions

  • Real estate financings

  • Joint ventures

  • Investment fund structures

  • Commercial leasing transactions

• Conduct and manage transactional due diligence

• Assist with structuring complex real estate investments and transactions

• Coordinate closing processes and manage transaction deliverables

• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, investors, and other transaction participants

• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, finance, tax, environmental, and other related practices

• Manage multiple sophisticated transactions and competing deadlines simultaneously

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Approximately 3-8 years of commercial real estate transactional experience

• Experience with a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and transaction-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• High level of academic achievement

• Ability to work effectively within large, collaborative deal teams

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Prior experience at a leading law firm preferred
