Position Description:
Our client, a prominent law firm with a national and international platform, is seeking an attorney with 5–7 years of experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice in Chicago.

Responsibilities & Experience

The ideal candidate will have bankruptcy-specific experience, including representing:

• Business debtors
• Creditors
• Landlords
• Supply chain and commercial counterparties

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Strong familiarity with the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and Uniform Commercial Code
• Experience with commercial transactions, corporate workouts, and restructurings
• Excellent advocacy, legal research, and writing skills
• Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school

Qualifications

• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Demonstrated strong work ethic
• Interest in business development activities is preferred
• Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission without examination

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $190,000–$220,000, based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, skill set, internal equity, and market conditions. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
