Trust & Probate Litigation Associate (2-5 yrs.) – Los Angeles

Position Description:
Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of recent law firm litigation experience, along with experience in trust and probate litigation or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area.
Experience handling trust or probate disputes in California courts is preferred, as is any related experience with estate planning documents or trust administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and other written work product
- Draft pleadings and other litigation-related documents
- Attend court hearings
- Manage cases from inception through resolution
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervising attorneys
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Admitted to practice and in good standing in California
- Familiarity with federal and state court procedures and rules
- Experience preparing basic litigation documents and managing case workflows
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

The firm provides a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of approximately $160,000 to $210,000, along with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and performance.
